I have a question about recruiting out of the macc programs. If it is a one-year program that begins in the fall and on campus recruiting begins in that first semester, what criteria are the firms recruiting basing their decisions off of? Will they use your undergrad gpa?
I ask because I am a non accounting undergrad major with a BA in economics who will be doing a one year macc for non-accounting majors in the fall.

Yeah, they will use your UG GPA. I would personally try to
extend your stay for another fall if you don't get an
offer.

It just seemed somewhat strange because since there are so many one year programs designed for nonaccounting undergrads you would think there would be a solid recruiting system.
