Hi everyone:

I am currently working at Big Four in Audit and I was just
wondering if anybody knows how much do tax attorneys make
at Big Four.

I am guessing that it will be lower than what lawyers make
at top law firms in D.C. or New York, but it has got to be
higher than typical Tax Senior Associate salary.

Please let me know,

If you aren't in a special group (like the national tax group in D.C. or what have you), you'll make a few thousand more than the accountants.

In other words, huge failure at life. Spend three years at law school, rack up 150k in additional debt, and you are going to be behind the guys that just worked for three years.

Diogenes,

Thank you for the information! I agree with you but I was
thinking about possibly getting a Tax LLM as opposed to a
J.D. and then passing the bar exam, if the state in which I
decide to practice would allow that (most states in the US
do not). But I guess there is no real need to get a law
degree if you, a priori, are planning to join the
accounting firm.
