I just took one of the final exams in Becker's AUD course.  I ended up with 79/90 on the multiple choice questions (26/30, 25/30, and 28/30 on the three testlets).  Not counting the communication and research parts of the simulations, I got 47/54 on one simulation and 110/122 on the other simulation.

For people who have taken Becker before, am I where I need to be at this point?  My exam is Monday 4/26 so it's coming up quick.  What scores did you typically get on the Becker Final Exams?  I'm just looking to see where I stand.  I feel like I don't know enough, but I don't think that feeling will ever go away.

Thanks.

Those are actually very good numbers, though the second audit exam in Becker is a little more difficult to me.  Generally, the Becker exams are more difficult than the actual.  I scored high 70's on the first audit exam and around 70 on the second exam.  Haven't gotten my real exam grade back yet so I can't attest to that comparison.  For reg, I scored about 5 points higher on the real exam.  As long as you keep your knowledge fresh and continue reviewing, I would expect to score 5 to 10 points higher on the real exam.  Good luck!

I have another question about the Becker final exams.

In the simulation, I had a ratios tab.  I entered formulas.  Several of my answers are correct but are showing up as being incorrect.

For example, gross profit ratio was $1,200,000 / $2,700,000 which equals 44.44%.  I typed in the formula, and it showed up 44%.  The answer shows I'm wrong, and says the correct answer is 44%!

What should I do on the actual exam?  Use formulas?  Don't use them?  Do the calculation on the calculator and type in the answer?  How many decimal places do I go out???

On the exam, you should be fine either way.  The software on the real exam has fewer bugs, and navigation through the sims is more seamless.  I have had a few minor issues navigating the practice sims, but no issues on the real exam.  I am almost certain that on the real exam no matter if you enter formulas or just the actual answer that you will get credit for the right answer.  Just make sure that the final answer you see in the box is the answer you want.  I wouldn't worry too much about this.  Just focus on keeping everything fresh.
