Hello,

I'm looking for a review package that is great for
someone who feels like she doesn't remember much from
accounting in college. I graduated from undergrad
approximately 4 years ago from a school that I didn't
think had the best accounting program (A's were super
easy to achieve). I then headed off to law school, where
I feel I managed to forget everything related to
accounting. Now I'm trying to go back and get my CPA so
I can combine it with my other degree.

I've been looking at Yaeger and Kaplan, and fantasizing
about Becker. Does anybody have any good
recommendations? I'm worried that if I do a self-study
program from textbooks alone, it will all look like a
foreign language.

Thanks!

To be honest, Becker is the way to go. I know it is
ridiculously expensive, but they simplify even the most
difficult concepts and make them easy to understand. Also,
look into Rogers/Wiley because I have heard they are also
good and is a little cheaper.

Make sure your material is up to date, dont buy 2010 at a discount.  Many significant changes to the 2011 exam.
