How many times is Tim Gearty going to say "again" during this lectures? I am only in lecture A2 of Audit and it's really starting to bother me. I have the captions showing up and once I counted he said it 3 times in one sentence!

Peter Olinto at least doesn't do that, but I find he speaks way too fast sometimes. For the money I'm paying Becker I was hoping for more polished speakers/lecturers.

Hi flfuturecpa,

I'm planning on getting the Becker 2011 material... I read your disappointment from the lecturers, so is it worth it to spend so much money on it? I would appreciate your response..

Thanks,

Bill

I still think it's worth the money. I've seen several other courses and I used another course. Becker organizes the material in the best way and also teaches you the level of information you need to know. Some of the other courses I feel under-prepare you. I scored in the high 90s in practice exams for BEC under a different course and still got a 74 on the exam.

The questions on the exam were much harder than the practice ones I got. With Becker, the practice questions actually seem harder than the ones you get on the exam.

It's just a bit annoying to me the habits that Gearty and Olinto have. It might not bother you.

Tim Gearty seems like a nice guy and all but it becomes very very very hard
to listen to him after 20+ hours. I start counting the times he says again in
sentences and i know what corny jokes are coming before he even says
them.

Thank you guys. I think I'll go with Becker this time. I know it costs a lot, but as you said, it's worth it. When it comes to passing the exam, I think there shouldn't be concerns about the costs....hope one day it'll pay off. I hope you guys do well..and I wish you all the best!
