I have the 2011 Becker Books and questions for CPA Review material from a friend
I am deciding if I should still sign up for Becker and sit for live classes?
Can someone who has used becker tell me if the classes are signifigantly
important? as compared to Self-Studying the materials

I signed up for the class, but it's really if you have the will and motivation to go to a class that's 4 hours long on weekdays or 8 hours long on Saturdays.I tried it, but I was burning myself out and nothing was really sticking, so I fired up the DVD lectures and they're much easier to go through. Mainly because I can pause and start the lecture and take down whatever notes I need to make before moving on. IMO, the classes are not worth the time or money, if anything, the DVD lectures and the classes are the same. It may have been my teacher, but she took 2 hours on 20 twenty pages then hurried the last 50 pages in two hours to finish the class on time. This happened every single class. If you can follow along in class and sitting for another 4 hours in a somewhat fast-paced environment, go for it.
