Hi, Folks,

I have received a offer from them as a second year audit staff and will be start working soon.  This company is NO.5 on the top 100 accounting firm list. But I have not heard much of them. wondering if anybody works for them , how is the company culture like?

any info would be appreciated

I work for McGladrey.  From what I hear from my acquaintences at other firms, I think I have the best deal.  I've never had to work any killer hours and there are half day fridays in the summer.  Do you have any specific questions I could answer?

Hi Plugtwo

Thank you for replying my post. I have seen you FAR thread. I know you just passed it. So did I ! Congratulations!

I have not started yet and 10/22 is my first day tenatively.  I have two year public accounting experience and will start as a experienced audit associate in NYC office.

When I interviewed with them, unlike anyother top accounting firms, I feel that people are very laid back and friendly and not stuffy at all, which really kind of suprise me because it is a very big company.  what is their corporate culture like?

What will I be getting in terms of  training ? Is any there mentor program for new hires?

How do you like the firm overall? You seem happy working there. It is a good sign.
