Hi

I'm about to graduate and just got a job at a mid tier firm in Internal Audit and Risk Management which will involve work with alot of Fortune 500 clients. I was wandering about the exit options to Private after a few years?

How important is it that i get some external audit experience in order to maximise my options?

From what  I understand Big 4 have a monopoly on external audit if i were to move from risk management given that i work with large clients should i work in external audit within the same firm or Big 4 as i don't wan't a scattered resume which makes me look like someone who changes jobs often?

Thanks
