What jobs are there in TAX that does not get as busy as a Public Accountants do during Tax Season? Just curious because my birthday falls EARLY APRIL and I dont know if I want to spend my whole life working on my birthday (i like taking trips).

Thanks!

You could just take trips in LATE April.
Incidentally, I don't see the big deal with working on your birthday in the first place. It's really just another day. Celebrate when you have the time. Or just take the day off or something.

Celebrate after tax season.  Most CPA firms have a post April 15 party.  Use that as your birthday party.

Or just don't work in tax.  Work in the audit department of a CPA firm that firmly separates tax and audit departments.

Or yes, government jobs.
