I'm thinking about being an accounting major, but I heard
that there is some discrimination against minorities in
accounting, especially in the big 4. Will being Asian hurt
my chances of getting hired by the big 4?

Our lead auditor from D&T is an Asian woman.

In California I would say a lot of the Big 4 offices are
majority Asian [at least at the manager level and below] or
if not majority Asian very close to it. They had a some
diversity guy show up to do some kind of training mandated
by the national leadership and he took one look and said
"You guys don't really need this training."

You should avoid accounting no matter what you are.

I'm pretty tired of your constant negativity. If you hate
accounting so much, find a different job. Whining about it
does not change anything.
