Hi All,
I just finished taking FAR, my first exam. So how do I feel? Let's just say that while I think there may be the possibility that I passed, I'm not throwing my notes out just yet. I'll say that I know I absolutely nailed my first testlet as the second one I got was ridiculously more difficult. My third testlet? I thought it was easier than the second, but still a lot more difficult than the first. I thought that there were only two levels, medium and hard difficulty, but who knows? Has that happened to anyone? Is there a medium-hard level that they'll sneak in there? My first Sim, ridiculous. Of course, I can't go into specifics, but there were a lot of journal entries, etc. I concentrated on the written part as it it's 10% and went onto the second Sim w/ a bunch of tabs practically untouched (only had about 35 minutes left and was hoping the second Sim would be easier). Second Sim, I knew the communications topic a lot better, the research topic was actually related to the industry I currently count beans in, and the Sims were soooooo much easier. I actually finished the whole thing with about 23 seconds left. Let's see what happens, but for now I'm looking forward to some cold beers and a night of guiltless (no "should I be studying?" feeling) pleasure.

hello man bear,
did you use becker? if you could go back what chapters would you focus on more from F1 through F9 based on heavily tested areas in the exam. I have yet to look at F7, F8 and F9 and will not be able to look at them until Aug. I'm planning to devote 12 days (120 hours) for those 3 chapters with a two week final review for all chapters. I'm currently reviewing F1 through F6 but the amount of information feels overwhelming but I'm staying postive that it will all come together in the end. It sounds like you did well. Good luck.

Good luck Pig.
You made a great explanation of your exam. My 3rd testlet had felt the same as the 2nd one, and the sims were really long and tedious, but I came out ok, and like you I finished with 7 seconds on the clock and felt guilty as hell for a week.
Have the beer, put the FAR in a drawer somewhere and wait 4 weeks!!
