Hi,
I have a quick question regarding FARE for those of you who have looked at both Wiley and Becker practice questions and have taken the exam.  Would you say the exam is more like Wiley/Becker/or neither?

My feeling after reading all posts here:

TIME MANAGEMENT IS THE KEY. most likely (Probably) people could
not pass because they could not finish all tabs in SIMs due to extra
time spent in the first 3 testlets.
Please speed up in the mcqs so as to have enough time to crack
Sims.

No matter how hard they are, move on smoothly.

I sat for FAR today as well and was also unable to finish the sims. I
completed the writing and research in both sims, but barely anything
further. I feel fairly confident in the MCQ, so here's to hoping. I
agree with
you "Study for CPA", the Becker practice exams are much easier than
the
actual exam. Oh well, moving on to BEC. Best of luck to all :)

Prob please use cpareview4free.com as extra practice after you

thought before. or Final Review. Please speed up and figure out ways
to get to a correct answer without too much hesitation.

I use Becker and Wiley at the same time. I would say (according to my friend who took FAR 2009) the FAR exam questions were more like those you saw in Becker. But as my experience from 2 days ago, I feel neither Becker nor Wiley alike..

GASB stands for Governmental Accounting Standards Board. In June 1999, GASB Statement 34 (or GASB 34) was published. GASB 34 requires state and local governments to begin reporting all financial transactions, including the value of their infrastructure assets, roads, bridges, water and sewer facilities, and dams, in their annual financial reports on an accrual accounting basis.
