Hi everyone, I have been taken BEC for so many times, "IT" is my weakest area. Please let me know if there are any supplements I can study with. I am currently studying with Wiley's book. I passed REG(now expired) and FAR. I really need to nail this one down. Please help me!!

Are you using a course in addition to the Wiley book?
I found that the information in the Wiley book was almost completely different from the material on the exam. I knew the book and could recite it backwards and forwards yet felt lost on the exam.
BEC means they can test you on ANYTHING business related. I don't think there is a good way to study for this test.

No, I did not... but it seems like all other area are very similar to what I study in the Wiley's book..except IT.. sometimes the essay question are asking from nowhere within my knowledge of the IT.. but thank you for your encouragement and good luck on your FAR..

Just do your best studying and keep trying. You have to carefully think each question through.
My understanding is that it's almost impossible to feel prepared for BEC under the new format. I passed it on a first try two years ago(lost credit) and it was much more straight forward than today. While retaking it, I've realized that the test has been changed a lot. My third time around, the half oh the exam looked pretest to me! I got a written communication on IT topic (!!!!). Well, sort of...Even if you get an unfamiliar topic for your essay, stick to the format. Make sure you have three paragraphs and use a lot of KEY WORDS. Best of luck!
