I think Sac State has an online MACC if you really want to go that route and have a low GMAT.  If you're not set on the MACC, just go to CC and get enough credits to sit for the CPA.  Call the CA Board and see if those classes count, that way you're 100% sure before you put in the time.

Yep sac state has a good MSA program. Confused should
consider it before GGU's since it is way cheaper. The big
problem with community college accounting programs is
that there is no networking events. Also CPA firms might
think the courses at community colleges are watered down.

Thanks RockyCali and Boise. I checked both GGU and Sac State and you are right, Sac State is much cheaper. The good thing is Sac State also offers online courses. For now, I think I will go work on my MACC and after I am done, I will work on my CPA. I am working in HR right now, so I have to start from entry level when changing my career to Accounting.

Thank you for your helpful advices. I am so glad I found out about this forum.

if you have any information to share, please post.

Again, thanks.

Confused.

Good point, especially since they're looking to change careers.  Good luck, Confused.

Boise

You are rediculous.  If Keller is such "garbage" can you please tell me why 2 of my accounting instructors there passed all 4 parts of the CPA on the *first attempt* right after graduating from Keller themselves and they are now also working in very-high paying accounting careers?

Really really think about it and then when you conjure up an answer in your little brain, get back to us.

I do NOT work for Devry or Keller, but I really like Keller.
