in consolidation problems, when we subtract excess of FV in problems to find goodwill...

is excess of FV for land subtracted or not....bec i think i came across problem where they had ignored for land and considered only if equipment or inventory....but i cam across in becker where they have subtracted value of land...

i think it should be added back if the fmv increased for consolidations. Someone correct me if I am wrong.

R u sure it was consolidations or an equity problem

actually i think i will be able to do tht when i revise this topic again...presently i am doing some other topic....this just crossed my mind so i thought i will confirm from u guys....if u come across than do let me know..
