CPAs and accountants are continually in search for tools and resources to help them quickly find quality information on the Internet. Always on the lookout for new and innovative ways to serve their clients and grow their businesses, accounting professionals usually find themselves short on the time needed to wade through the "content glut" on the Internet. That is where CPAnet steps in to help. CPAnet is a curation site that researches and indexes the best the accounting profession has to offer. With a heavy emphasis on the young CPA and CPA exam candidate markets, CPAnet leverages its social follower base to bring users timely information in a rapidly changing landscape. In addition, CPAnet hosts lively and active communities within its discussion forums, niche communities and social outlets that primarily cater to those seeking to obtain their CPAs and sit for the CPA Exam.

ABOUT THE FOUNDER
CPAnet was founded in March 1996 by Brenda Mizgorski, CPA. She started CPAnet at a time when there were only 25 links returned when you searched the term "CPA" (in YAHOO! no less). As of today, there are well over 104 million results. Brenda has been a CPA since 1990. She holds an MBA from the Wharton School of Business, University of Pennsylvania with a concentration in Finance and Entrepreneurial Management. Prior to starting CPAnet, she established a successful outsourcing practice providing services to local corporations and CPA firms and was an Audit Manager at Coopers & Lybrand, LLP (PwC).
