I'm using Becker. I'm close to spending 25 hours reviewing FAR 2 and I'm still
not done. During that time I've watched the lecture, went to the live class,
and worked through only half of the homework problems.

Just wondering if others had the same experience. FAR 2 has so many topics
that it is taking me a very long time to get through it. How does FAR 2
compared to the rest of the chapters, will the other sections go faster?

I'm so glad to see someone say this! I had a really tough time with this chapter as well. I finally understand most of it but it took me a lot longer then I would've liked. At one point I got very frustrated and had to take some time away. I didn't study for a day and a half, came back to it and completely understood the stuff that made me so frustrated. I really hope this was an exception to the general rule!

same here, chapter 2 is killing me :(

and I really want to know how this chapter compared to the rest of the chapters.

Chapter 2 is one of the hardest chapter. Along with that, I spent long time on Chapter 5 (leases/bonds), Chapter 7 (Stockholder's Equity/Statement of cash flow) and Chapter 3 (Consolidation). However, everyone is different. Inventory may take a while (Chapter 4) because there are so many inventory methods.

When are you guys planning to take the exam? Mine is next month and I don't feel well prepared especially knowing that simulation on FAR will be tough as discussed in this forum.

on timing issues what did you get on the homework?
